When is the newborn session scheduled?
WHEN IS THE NEWBORN SESSION SCHEDULED?
Newborn session focuses on preserving the memory of your tiny cutesy newborn baby!!! I photograph newborns in the studio between days 5-16. In my experience, babies tend to do well in the studio during that sweet time. This timeframe is also adjusted to mothers postpartum condition and baby health.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
I recommend booking during your second trimester of pregnancy. I only take a specific number of newborns a month to allow for spacing out studio sessions to ensure a fully sanitized session for your bundle of joy.
WHAT IS A MATERNITY SESSION?
A maternity session focuses on preserving the beautiful memory of pregnancy. Main focus is on capturing memorable photos of mother and baby bump.
CAN MY HUSBAND OR CHILDREN BE PART OF THE SESSION?
Of course!!! The session will include photos of mother and baby bump, spouse and children.
WHATshould i wear for my maternity session?
Don't fret!!! I have a variety of high end maternity gowns that help decrease that stress!! No need to buy one dress that you will possibly never wear again. I also consult with you to coordinate your spouse's outfit and make sure everything will photograph nicely.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK THE MATERNITY SESSION?
Maternity sessions are scheduled between 28-34 weeks to ensure mother is feeling great and not too tired. Around 36-28weeks, mother becomes more tired and swelling can tend to set in. I like to photograph when my clients are feeling comfortable and not too close to their due date.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY CHILDS CAKESMASH OR FIRST YEAR SESSION?
It is recommended to inquire for your child's session when they are about 7 or 8 months to assure scheduling. The session date is scheduled for when you child is 11 months to allow final edits to be completed prior to child's birthday.
WHAT DOES MY CHILD WEAR FOR THE SESSION?
I keep in contact for outfit consultations to make sure it will photograph nicely. I also have studio outfits that are exclusive to my clients and can be used during sessions.
I WANT TO BOOK A SITTER SESSION BUT MY CHILD IS NOT FULLY SITTING. IS THIS POSSIBLE?
No problem!! We can either wait til 7months and your child has better balance/gait control, or I have props such as a bed that I can seat them in safely. Your child's safety is my number 1 priority.
